Bom Jesus enters in a project that attracts millions of tourists

Bom Jesus had received yesterday the visit of the minister of economics, Pedro Siza Vieira, and the President of tourism of Portugal, Luís Araújo.

The responsible have expressed the purpose to include the sanctuary in the nacional project “Caminhos da Fé”.

The visit include the presence of the secretary of state for tourism, Ana Mendes Godinho, the primate Archbishop, D. Jorge Ortiga, and the Variator of urbanism of Braga town hall, Miguel Bandeira.

The present entities highlighted the elevation of Bom Jesus to World Heritage like a good contribute to the nacional tourism.

The project “Caminhos de Fé”, bring millions of tourists to Portugal through Santiago and Fátima paths, the Marianos altars and Jewish heritage.

The minister of economics and tourism of Portugal prepare themselves now to include the Bom Jesus in the nacional project. The initiative aims to project on the nacional and international plans the monuments and religious matrix places.

The minister of economics posted yet availability to future financial support to Bom Jesus, assuming that the Bom Jesus Brotherhood and archdiocese of Braga have made a “Huge effort.
