There is already a date for the “Elite Firefighter” test that takes place on the stairs of Bom Jesus do Monte, in Braga.

Hundreds of firefighters will climb the steps on September 28.

This initiative consists of a resistance test, which aims to cover 615 meters with a positive slope of 116 meters with 566 steps, where participants will have to wear personal protective equipment (EPI) complete with urban fire boots, and respiratory insulation (ARICA) in the shortest possible time.

This year, the organization plans to register many more foreigners in the competition.
