The exhibition «Bom Jesus do Monte e o Bilhete Postal Ilustrado» was inaugurated on 18 June 2026. Installed at the Centro de Memórias do Santuário, it is open to the public on weekdays between 10:00 and 13:00 and from 14:00 to 17:00 [other times and bookings upon request].

Visitors will be able to take a kind of “journey through time”, recalling the views, architecture, gardens and spirituality captured in this iconic object — the Bilhete Postal Ilustrado — from the mid-19th century onwards.

Among the collection featured in this exhibition, highlights include a fully functional “a La Minute” photographic camera in perfect condition, as well as the proposal of a route through which visitors can explore four spaces of the Estância with great relevance to the theme, where replicas of these same machines have been installed, allowing them to glimpse the past printed on a postcard.
