On 22 May 2026, a new technical visit took place — carried out by technicians from CCDR-N Cultura — to the requalification and restoration works included in the project «Bom Jesus: Requalificar III», which focus on three distinct areas of the Santuário: the apeadeiros do Elevador, the former “Casa dos Correios”, where the new Centro Interpretativo will operate, and also the muro e jardim de Camilo Castelo Branco.

The visit was guided by members of the architecture offices responsible for the projects, representatives of the companies involved in the works, and members of the Confraria do Bom Jesus do Monte.

The project «Bom Jesus: Requalificar III» is therefore progressing at a good pace.
