Statue of Moisés

On a parapet, with talar habits and overcoat in the left hand shows the figure of Moisés. It has two rays of light in the head and in the right hand the rod with a serpent coiled. The rod with which he led the Jews out of Egypt to the Promised Land. Both the rod and the serpent are missing.

Under the feet of the statue, is the inscription: «WHO CUM PERCUSSI ASPICERENT, SANABANTUR», translated: «those who looked at the wounded, healed».

Moisés, born in Egypt, is described as chief of the people, legislator and protector. Exists another statue with the same name on some cliffs, on top of a boulder, above the lake.
