The XXIII Edition of the “A Nossa Terra” Awards took place in a restricted ceremony, but with the same meaning.
The Confraria do Bom Jesus do Monte, which saw its meritorious work recognized with the “Entity Award”, Bernardo Reis, who received the “Personality Award”, and Priest João Aguiar Campos, who received the “Career Award” starred in three of the most relevant moments of the “A Nossa Terra” Awards ceremony.
In an atypical year, the organization of the “A Nossa Terra” Awards decided to replace the traditional annual Gala, with a restricted, contained and minimalist ceremony that was attended only by the twenty-one winners of the XXIII Edition and the guests for the delivery of the respective awards.
The initiative took place in the space of (almost) always – the large auditorium of Altice Fórum Braga -, this time with close to fifty people occupying the approximately one thousand seats available and following all the indications and precautions recommended by DGS.
On behalf of the organization of the Awards, José Ferreira, addressed those present, recalling the objectives that guide the initiative, which are “the public recognition of the merit of citizens and entities, who, by their way of being and being, contribute to the enhancement and projection of the good name of the municipality of Braga ».
