The Confraternity of the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus do Monte, following the guidelines of the competent entities and following the Directorate-General for Health, decided to reopen various activities at the Sanctuary. After the reopening of Basília, on Monday it will reopen, the elevator, the printing house and the kiosk.

The spaces will open with limited hours:
– Elevator: Monday to Friday from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 12 pm and 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm
– Casa das Estampas – Monday to Friday from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm

All spaces were adapted to the guidelines given by DGS. In the elevator, the capacity was reduced to 10 places, properly marked, it will be disinfected after each trip and there will be hand sanitizer at the entrance of the elevator.

Since the Confraria decided to open the Basilica, stairway and forest, there has been a daily increase in visitors, but everyone who has followed the safety guidelines and followed the signs on the spot.

The Confraria do Bom Jesus appeals to all visitors to continue to comply with all the safety guidelines, given by DGS, and to maintain distances , for everyone to continue enjoying a unique space like the Bom Jesus Sanctuary.
